Litmus - You Are Here

Sunrise wrong side of another day, sky high and six thousand miles away – nice rumbling bass line kicks us off…. Technicians of spaceship Litmus, this is your Captain speaking, it case of sonic attack please follow these rules.

Swwwwwwwwwwwwiiiiiissssssssssshhhhhhhhhh, oscillation overload – space trucking indeed. Litmus are from London and their debut album just got launched, you don’t need to be no rocket scientist to work out that these people have been feeding off the musical orgone accumulated energy Brave Baron Brock and his Hawkwind crew. Hey look, the good spaceship Hawkwind is looking a little tired and run down these daze and Litmus just blasted off in a shinny new rocket and if the setting of these distant suns brings insanity of eternal night then now is forever as all is nothing. Litmus have taken off from their sonic dawn. They ride forth on dreams of light, flying sideways through time.

Hey, we warned you about the demos, we told you to go to the gigs, we had them playing Organ shows, we even got them a gig with those Ozrics – and now they’ve come up with the goods – a fine fine debut, front line spiraling driving forward moving classic space rock. Check out those tittles – Infinity Drive, Dreams Of Space, Stone Oscillator (Static Ritual) – Ah look, we need a new fresh Hawkflavour or two and this set of flavours come rather recommended.
