Saturday 2 August
2008
Secret Venue
A special request gig in a hanger for
the birthday of a massive spacerock fan. Some of the nicest
countryside that we have ever degraded. |
Friday 1 August
2008
Mantra Club
Litmus played at the Mantra club.
A very hot night and a nice crowd.

Saturday 19 July 2008
Burg Herzberg Festival
What a night! Even torrential rain could not ruin an amazing gig.
Many thanks to everyone who organised the event, especially the
stage crew, and the massive crowd.

Roadburn Festival Pre-Heat
Oh, what a few days this was: the friendliest people that you could
ever hope to meet (ie: everyone in the Netherlands, especially the
train ticket collector and the bar owner), some great bands, some
very interesting biscuits, weird and shameful dancing, an epic
journey under unusual conditions by Marek, Goblin Ben being scared
witless by Fiddler, and the search for Harry's mind. In
between all of that Litmus played a full on set to a packed venue.
If you have never been to Roadburn, then you really must go.

Saturday 12
April 2008
Little Civic, Wolverhampton
Litmus and Alan Davey's Gunslinger played together for a second
night running at this excellent venue in the heart of Wolverhampton.
A very heavy set from Litmus with some slightly unusual visuals.

Friday 11
April 2008
Standard Music Venue, Walthamstow
A great night at one of our favourite venues! Alan Davey
joined the band onstage for an encore of Master of the Universe and
Born To Go, both played at blistering speed!

Saturday 05
April 2008
The Classic Rock Club
A full-on 80 minute set at this great club, which is run by the
people who used to put on Radio Never Say Die. Litmus played a heavy
and aggressive set, culminating in a massive version of Master of
the Universe; this was possibly the heaviest version of this song ever!
It may not have been classic, but it was certainly rock and it was
in a club!

Saturday 01
March 2008
Born To Go Club
Litmus headlined the second night of this new club at Club
85 in Hitchin. A stonking one hour set was followed by an
encore of Born To Go (what else?), featuring Litmus and some of
Xenon Codex, plus Peyote Lee and Chris Cambridge, which was
unfortunately ruined by a drunk idiot who managed to destroy two
mics and cause chaos. He knows who he is!

Friday 25 January 2008
The Bull and Gate
The first gig of the year was a two and a half hour set running
through the band's career, with songs from the demo tapes, You Are
Here, Planetfall, new songs and an encore of some of Bob Calvert's
finest works. This gig also featured Marek managing to stick
his drumstick through the snare drum head; the Guv'nor then set off
on a trek across London to find a replacement snare drum.
Photos of the gig are available on our
MySpace site.

Sunday 28
October 2007
The Underworld, Camden
Litmus played on the second night of the All-Hallows
Festival. A difficult evening due to Fiddler's pedal board
deciding that it did not want to take part; mind you, who could
blame it with Fiddler constantly walloping his size 9s onto the
pedals.
