Gigs have been added and more will be added soon!  On the album front, the artwork has been finalised and everything is green for go for launch.

The new Litmus album is now fully mixed and, thanks to Gareth Parton's supreme talent, ability and willingness to totally ignore suggestions put forward by the band, it sounds amazing (well, the Guv'nor thinks so anyway!).  February 2007 is still looking good as a release date.

Greetings!

Well, as you can see the website is being updated again so that is the first piece of news!

We have played a couple of festivals over the summer. First there was the wonderful Eastern Haze, which featured probably the strongest line-up of psychedelic bands seen in the UK for a long time, and then there was the Rockinbeerfest, a three day extravaganza of music and real ale....the perfect Litmus environment!  What was even better was that they gave us quite a lot of free beer, but only after we had played!

At Rockinbeerfest we met Jim Ross of Radio Caroline; he will be doing a piece on Rockinbeerfest on his show on Friday 25th August between 16:00 and 16:30 and will be playing a Litmus track.

A deal for the new album has been signed with Rise Above Records which will see the album, entitled Planetfall, probably being released in February 2007.  The recording stage is just about complete and it is almost ready to be mixed by Gareth Parton at Fortress Studios.
